Pizza Hut Goes Woke is the leftist company that urges children to read this drag queen book called Big Wig by author Jonathan Hillman. There is nothing reasonable about recommending this kind of radical literature to young children who have no clue who they are or what they’ll be. Why would anyone want children to be drag queens unless they are grooming them for some ridiculous indoctrination reason? This isn’t the first time Pizza Hut has been in the news for its leftist woke inspired ideas! 😡

IB Times reports: Pizza Hut is under fire from its customers who are calling for a boycott of the pizza chain over a book recommendation it recently made for its kids’ book club, which references a child that becomes a drag queen. The book in question is “Big Wig” by author Jonathan Hillman and illustrated by Levi Hastings, which “celebrates the universal childhood experience of dressing up and the confidence that comes with putting on a costume,” according to the Book It! book club website.

The website continues to describe the book by saying, “And it goes further than that, acknowledging that sometimes dressing differently from what might be expected is how we become our truest and best selves.” The book, which is targeted toward grades PreK to 3, has caused a firestorm on social media as customers of Pizza Hut goes woke have called out the chain for endorsing it for kids. In a series of tweets, former Pizza Hut customers criticized the pizza maker by saying it had gone “woke.”

Numerous conservatives on social media, including the Libs of Tik Tok account, have taken issue with the book and turned on the pizza maker, which has been running its reading incentive BOOK IT! Program for decades. “Pizza Hut has gone full woke, now we must make them full broke,” conservative commentator and author Brigitte Gabriel tweeted. The sentiment was echoed by others who saw the book highlighted. “Hi @pizzahut. Are you aware of how many pizza restaurants there are that don’t try to turn kids into drag queens? Ask your marketing department if you don’t know the answer,” conservative producer and reporter Kyle Becker tweeted.

Company Histories reports: Pizza Hut was founded in 1958 by brothers Dan and Frank Carney in their hometown of Wichita, Kansas. When a friend suggested opening a pizza parlor–then a rarity–they agreed that the idea could prove successful, and they borrowed $600 from their mother to start a business with partner John Bender. Renting a small building at 503 South Bluff in downtown Wichita and purchasing secondhand equipment to make pizzas, the Carneys and Bender opened the first Pizza Hut restaurant; on opening night, they gave pizza away to encourage community interest.
